Course content

Seminar giving general methodic guidance to the elaboration of bachelor thesis. Formal content and extent of the thesis, work with literature, ways of citation, text formatting, graphical appendices, list of references. Information about methods and forms of scientific research in geology. Topical problems in research, performed at the Deparment of Geology.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar is generally focused on methodological instructions for elaboration of bachelor thesis.
Students should be able to: - know the principles of the bachelor thesis structure - apply the principles of elaboration of bachelor thesis, work with scientific literature, editing text and graphic attachments - orient in current problems in research, solved at the Department of Geology, Olomouc - cite literature It is necessary to select and arrange the topic of the bachelor thesis and put forward the assignment of the bachelor thesis.
