Course content
Educational politics of the Czech Republic (CR). National educational program. Structure of the school system in the CR. Present situation and trends of pre-primary, primary, secondary and tertiary education in the CR. Some basics school lows. Education of adults. Theory of adults teaching and learning. Education of adults as communication process. Methods of teaching for adults. Didactical strategies. Special didactic methods. Forms of organisation. Direct teaching. Combination teaching. Corresponding study. Cross-country education. Form of organisation of adults education. Verification and evaluation of teaching results. Modules and their preparation for adults education.

Learning outcomes
This study course is concentrated on basic information and knowledge on trends in the education in the Czech Republic in a wider socio-political and cultural context. The attention is devoted to the aims and principles of the education. The students become acquainted with the procedures and functions of the teacher in the teaching. The scopes of this course include: <ul> <li> familiarization with basic tendencies of the school politics of the Czech Republic and understanding of the principles of the school politics <li> integration of some knowledge from pedagogy and psychology <li> understanding of role of the student in the educational process </ul> <br> <br> The content of the lectures: <ul> <li> School politics of the Czech Republic <li> National program of the education <li> Structure of the school system of the Czech Republic <li> Present state and tends in the pre-primary, primary, secondary and tertiary education in the Czech Republic <li> Teaching process <li> School teaching <li> Learning <li> Theoretical basis of description of teaching process <li> Learning activity of the student <li> Motivation of the students <li> Communication with the students <li> Teaching activity of the teacher <li> Reflection and self-reflection in the teaching activity of the teacher <li> Strategies and techniques of the teaching </ul>
Knowledge Define the main ideas and conceptions of the subject, describe the main approaches of the studied topics, recall the theoretical knowledge for solution of model problems.
