Course content
|
English grammar is repeated and developed using the textbook English Grammar in Use (Cambridge University Press), Raymond Murphy. The content of the textbook is completed by terminology of biochemistry (proteosynthesis, enzymes) and biology (gene engineering, GMO). An emphasis is given to successful reading and translation of texts, orientation in the text and application of the grammar, which has been taught. Lessons also include reading and analysis of current papers from international scientific journals e. g. Science, Nature etc. Students are supposed to be able to understand English texts, conversation with respect to a particular topic, active participation in discussions, give questions and answer them.
