Course content
Toxic compounds and their effect on the organisms. Biochemical and molecular methods in toxicology. Toxicity and Toxicokinetics. Toxic agents. Introduction to forensic, clinical and environmental toxicology.

Learning outcomes
The main goal for obtaining the exam of Toxicology in the PhD program of Moleculat and cell biology is to get overview into the mechanism of action of poisons at molecular and cellular level and become aware of working interactions with extra- as well as intracellular targets.
Student will be able to - conduct scientific discussion in broader context of the whole discipline - summarize toxicology knowledge - to explain toxicology techniques

Basic knowledge of chemistry and human biology
