Obsah předmětu
|
The subject Soil contamination, degradation and protection of the soil expands the subject Soil science from the bachelor's study and focuses on more detailed information on the basic types of agricultural and forest soil degradation in the Czech Republic, Europe and worldwide, describes the indicators of soil quality assessment, from chemical degradation it focuses on acidification and alkalization, soil salinization, soil intoxication with potentially hazardous elements and organic hazardous substances and other types of contamination, including remedial measures. The loss of organic matter and its excessive mineralization is also a serious problem. Types of physical degradation (erosion, compaction) and possible remedial measures are also discussed. Attention is also paid to the monitoring of foreign substances in soils and soil degradation, including the use of geographic information systems for this monitoring, approaches to improving and restoring soil quality. A separate part is made up of legal standards and soil assessment.
