Course content
|
Field excursion is aimed to the visit of selected protected areas, National Parks and reservations in Czech Republic or abroad. There are preferred areas with remarkable qualities and characteristics, which are out of availabilities during basic excursions. The aim of these practices is not only visit the areas but to teach the students how to arrange, lead and exercise the visit to improve the education of the excursion participants as well as how to advertise the sites for public. The individual projects of the students made after the field tour are the key for their classification.

Learning outcomes
|
The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Application - Describe selected ecosystems, especially in national parks outside the CR - Explain the basic concepts and procedures of national nature conservation offices in the EU countries - Create your own PR products (posters, films, web pages, leaflet, articles), in order to inform particular groups about visited region or to inform on particular problems dealing with the excursion.
