Course content
During the semester students are acquainted with the decision-making process of state bodies in administrative procedures particularly regarding protection of the environment. This also involves drafting of comments on studies, plans and projects, and the position of involved parties. Considerable attention is paid to the EIA process - assessment of the influence of buildings, technologies and concepts on the environment. In another part of the subject students will gain basic knowledge of erosion control (training for Landscape Planning) and, led by the lecturer, they will draw up a simple erosion control project for a chosen area.
