Course content
Chances and limits of tourism in protected areas. Impacts of tourism on nature and regional development, management of such impacts. Chanelling of visitor flows and traffic in protected areas. Monitoring of visitation and its impacts. Work with public in protected areas-types of information and interpretation. Presentation of case studies of visitor´s management from Czech and foreign protected areas.

Learning outcomes
The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Application Adopt nature protection in relation to tourism, its monitoring and management in protected areas based on case studies. Apply knowledge of tourism management in practice of management of protected areas. Draw an own product of local heritage interpretation for visitors.

Written exam, Seminar Work

Ended by written exam and oral presentation of seminary work (case studies) with discussion.
