Course content
|
A summary of economic theory - with emphasis on basic terminology of neo-classical economics (microeconomics, macroeconomics) - the economic aspect of environmental questions. Evaluation of natural sources - damage to the environment - externalities, public property - methods of evaluation (traditional and non-traditional methods). Ecological policy and economic tools - principles of ecological policy - tools of environmental policy (economic and administrative) - ecological policy of the EU, investment in the environment - the value of finance - assessment of the effectiveness of investment - possibilities of financing investment in the environment (own sources, support from public expenditure, subsidies from foreign sources)
