Course content
Students will get experienced in determination, basic ecological characteristics and phytogeography of plant species of our country and herbarium plant collecting.

Learning outcomes
Practical field excursion with demonstration of common and important plant species of the Czech republic.
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - Determine the most important Plant species of Czechia (i.e. phytogeographically, ecologically or taxonomically important). - Use determination keys in plant identification. - Explain elementary taxonomic, ecologic and phytogeographic characteristics of major central-European plants.
