Course content
|
Within the field of vegetation science it is necessary to concentrate postgraduate students on the following aspects: i) formulation of hypotheses and their testing with respect that only smaller part of them might be experimentally tested; ii) the use of different multivariate techniques for the large data sets; iii) understanding of processes a patterns found on different spatial and temporal scales, possibilities of extrapolations etc., iv) understanding of new trends in the vegetation classification and formation of individual classification systems based on different criteria.
