Course content
|
Red list of endangered species of plants. Systematics overview of endangered species of vascular plants in the Czech republic. Characteristics of selected groups of endangered plants: taxonomic and nomenclatural notes, evolutionary relationships, main determination features, variability, ecology, distribution area and occurrence in the Czech Republic, character of threat and potential protection management.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on the phytogeography, ecology and taxonomy of endangered species of higher plants.
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - List the most important threatened taxa in Czech Flora. - Define taxonomic, phytogeographic and ecological characteristics in relation to their threat. - Recall main determination characters of threatened taxa.

Mark, Written exam
Exam: knowledge in extent of the lectures and recommended literature. Obtaining at least 10 credits out of 18 (six questions, each 3 credits).
