Course content

Practical field excursion with demonstration of phytogeographically, ecologically and taxonomically distinct and important plant species of the Flora of Central Europe. Students will get experienced in determination, basic ecological characteristics and phytogeography of plant species of Central Europe.

Practical field excursion with demonstration of important higher plants in the Central Europe.
Student should be able to (after attending the course): - Determine the most important Plant species of central Europe (i.e. phytogeographically, ecologically or taxonomically important). - use determination keys in plant identification - Explain elementary taxonomic, ecologic and phytogeographic characteristics of major central-European plants.
