Course content
|
1. Intro to photographgy, basic terms, types of photography, methods 2. Brief theory of photography: compositions, colours, exposition, contrast, balance etc. 3. Various photography styles: macrophotography, research photography, street photography, documentary, fine-art, landscape, architecture etc. 4. Image processing on PC. Setting up the image formats for publication. 5. Discussion on seminar photographs.

The aim of the course is to introduce to students how to make a good photograph.
- Apply knowledge of photography theory, aesthetics and elementary physical background in image capturing - Edit and modify photographic material for scientific publications using graphical software - Prepare photographs for web presentations
