Course content
Student writing the Bachelor Thesis is expected to use the knowledge he/she obtained during the study. Student should be able to make a good literature recherché in given topic, make an outline of the Thesis and select appropriate methodology for the study. Bachelor Thesis is preparation for the consequent Master Thesis, it generally provides the theoretical background for the future MSc Thesis. Therefore it has compilation character. First preliminary results from the experiments can be published as well, which will be worked out properly in continuing Master Thesis. The topic of Bachelor Thesis can be from various topics of the biologic research: botany, zoology, general biology, genetics -- following the actual offer at the departments. Student has the right to propose his/her own topic, if it is acceptable by the Department. Usually, Bc. Thesis is started in 3rd semester and finished in 6th semester. The extent of the Thesis is about 25-35 pages.
