Quality of chemical analysis results and its security. Metrology in chemistry - reference materials, metrological traceability. Laboratory accreditation. Internal and external quality assurance (control charts, interlaboratory comparison of tests). Validation of methods. Measurement uncertainty. Fundamentals of sampling.The seminar includes an introduction to theoretical fundamentals and practical exercises

The aim is to acquaint with basics of metrology in chemistry.

Prerequisites
|
The knowledge of basics of general, organic, anorganic, physical, analytical chemistry and biochemistry is recommended.

Written exam, Student performance
50% success in a written test and the ability to discuss the selected theme of the subject
