Course content |
1. Self-employed persons: the term "a self-employed person", position in social security system. 2. Self-employed persons' duties and reliability in social security. 3. Pension insurance of self-employed persons - legal regulation. 4. Pension insurance of self-employed persons - practical cases. 5. Sickness insurance of self-employed persons - practical cases. 6. Health insurance of self-employed persons - practical cases.

Learning outcomes |
Compulsory course is connected with compulsory Social Security Law. Optional course is focused on better understanding of the complex issues and should point out the differences in this category with other categories of insured persons (especially with employees in employment) in relation to social insurance system. The course focuses on self-employed persons and on the issue of participation in the pension, sickness and health insurance system.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge of the rights and duties of self-employed persons in the system of social security and will be able to apply practical skills. |
