Course content
Lecture Topics: 1. Introduction to the Study of Commercial law 2. Business. Enterpriser. Company. Binding negotiations of businessmann. 3. Business firm. Trade register 4. Unfair competition. 5. General Provisions of business corporations. 6. General Commercial Partnerships and Limited Partnerships. 7. Limited Lability Companies. 8. Joint Stock Company. 9. Fundamental Provisions. 10. Obligations (contractual negotiations, types of business obligations). 11. Establishment, modification, termination of contractual relationship. 12. Obligations - security 13. Selected types of contract. Seminar topics: 1. Institutes of civil law repetition. 2. Binding negotiations of businessmann. 3. Unfair competition. 4. Contract of sale. 5. Contract for work. 6. Selected types of contract.

Learning outcomes
A key provision of commercial law is Act No. 513/1991 Coll., Commercial Code, as amended. Commercial law is composed of a number of other standards, private and public nature, although some students will bring home to them. Teaching should be focused on the interpretation of basic concepts and institutions of the Commercial Code, ie. to define the subject of the Commercial Code rules, operators of the Commercial Code, the relationship of the Commercial Code and Civil Code, sources of commercial law and the interpretation of the terms of business, entrepreneur, business, business name, business rejskřík. In addition, students described the business activities of foreign persons in the CR and made an introduction to the study law against unfair competition. The general provisions of the Companies and the legal and property characteristics of different types of commercial companies and cooperatives. A large part of the training will focus on business obligations - the general bond provisions of the law, as well as selected types of contract. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge of commercila law, company law and obligations.

Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of some other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

It is essential that those students who would like to get the credit must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in the written test. The final exam is verbal and is focused on knowledge of Comercial law. The exam is led by the teacher. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
