Course content
1. Compensation for material and non-material damage in labor law. Prevention of damages. 2. Duties of the employee for damages. 3. Duties of the employer for damages. 4. Accidents at work and occupational diseases. 5. The scope of damages and non-pecuniary damage. 6. Types of compensation.

Learning outcomes
Directively chosen subject responsibility for damage and remedy in labor law will connect theory of labor law with analysis of procedure of judicial decisions in cases. Responsibility for damage and remedy in labor law represents one of the most important parts of labor law. The subject is focused on jurisdiction of responsibility for damage of caused by an employee to the employer and for responsibility of employer for damage caused to the emloyee and it is specialized mainly in the branch of work injuries and illnesses from work. The target of the subject is interdisciplinary access that connects labor law and procedural and substantive law supported by jurisprudence of general courts, especially of the Supreme Court. The most important thing is to refer on the legislative of damages and to distinguish responsibility for damage accordin to labor and civil code.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the features of law.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Seminar Work

It is essential that those students who would like to pass the course must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and succeed in the colloquium.
