Course content
LLecture Topics: 1. Remuneration of work. Wages and salaries. Legal minimum pay. Guaranteed pay. Validity of pay. 2. Staff working conditions and care. Special working conditions. 3. The obstacles at work. Obstacles at work on the employer's side. Obstacles at work on the employee's side. Agreement to work outsider the scope of employment. Agreement to complete a job. Agreement to perform work. 4. Liability and compensation of damages. Prevention and liability in the labour law. Duties of the employee for damages. 5. Duties of the employer for damages. Factual basis of liability of the employer, general and special responsibility, recourse, compulsory insurance. 6. Employment policy of the state. Labour services. State control. 7. Collective labour law, subjects. Labour Unions. Collective disputes and their resolution. Seminary topics: 1. Termination of employment relationship. 2. Termination of employment. Agreement on termination of employment, Legal acts leading to termination of employment relationship. Notice of termination of employment. Instant termination of employment. 3. Liability and compensation of damages. Prevention and liability in the labour law. Duties of the employee for damages. 4. Duties of the employer for damages. Learning outcomes
Course Labour Law 2 covers mainly the problematic of relations between employers and employees. It is focused on the topics like discipline in work, conditions of work and employment relationship, and claims of the parties of employment relationship. The content of the course will be also institutions of working period, time for rest, remuneration, obstacles to work, responsibility for damages and their reparation etc. The course includes also topics of collective labour law and legal aspects of employment policy. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will widen their knowledge in the field of labour law particularly in the field of individual labour law. They will be able to use this theoretical background in the field of practical application of law.
Prerequisites
Students who want to complete this course must first successfully complete the Labour Law 1.

IIt is essential that those students who would like to get the credit must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in final written exam.
