Employment relationship, its characteristic points, legal status of employees and employers. Legal obligations of the parties of employment relation. 3. Legal obligations of the parties of employment relation. Legal basis of the creation of the employment relation. Employment contract and employment relationship. Employment contract 4. Employment contract - content. 5. Appointment. 6. Changes of employment contract and change of employment relationship. 7. Termination of employment relationship. 8. Learning outcomes |
This course covers the general features of labour law with the focus on creation, changes and termination of labour relations, work discipline, working time and time for rest, wages and their compensations, care of employees, working agreements etc. The course includes also topics of collective labour law and legal aspects of employment policy. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain general knowledge of labour law and will be able to apply this knowledge in real cases in their legal practice. |

Assessment methods and criteria |
Seminar Work
It is essential that those students who would like to get the credit must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in the written credit test. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS. |
