Learning outcomes
In the first semestral study of Business Corporations students will be acquainted with the introduction to Business Corporations study, primarily the basic terms and institutions, the historical development, incorporation, abrogation and dissolution of Business Corporations in general. Consequently the attention will be paid to individual types of Business Corporations, such as Public Business Corporations, Commandite partnership and Limited Lability Companies. Within the scope of study students will be acquainted with the current legal regulations and with the prewar and co-temporary practice of the courts. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
After finishing the course, the student will master the general part of commercial corporate law and the matter of personal companies.
Prerequisites
Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of some other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

It is essential that those students who would like to get the credit must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in the written test of Business Corporations 1 knowledge. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
