Learning outcomes
Course held in English. The course's aim is to introduce the foreign students at the Faculty of Law in Olomouc with the judicial system in the Czech Republic and with the civil procedural law. The course will be focused on the comparison of the Czech legal regulation with the legal regulation of the Member States, where the students come from. The moot court will be used within this course as well.
Students who have completed this course will gain the fundamental overview of the legal regulation of judiciary and civil procedure in Czech Republic and of the judicial systems of selected EU member states. An additional value of the course lies in the fact, that attendants of the course will gain language skills and orientation in the special English legal terminology.
Prerequisites
Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of some other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

It is essential that those students who would like to pass the course must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher, realize the oral presentation and they also must succeed in written colloquium.
