The subject General Part of Private Law 2 builds on the subject General Part of Private Law 1. The core of this second part will be an analysis of legal institutes common to the entire private law, which are regulated in the general part of the Civil Code. This includes, in particular, the definition of legal facts (legal action, time, limitation, prescription), representation, the conduct of the entrepreneur and the protection of personality. An integral part of the text is an overview of the most important case law related to this issue. Overview of lecture topics 1. Legal facts in general: concept, division 2. Legal acts I: concept, definition (conceptual features, elements), division 3. Legal acts II: interpretation 4. Legal act III: form, conditions 5. Legal act IV: nullity and relative ineffectiveness I 6. Legal act V: nullity and relative ineffectiveness II 7. Representation 8. Entrepreneur and entrepreneur's conduct; consumer 9. General personality law I 10. General personality law II 11. Time, limitation, prescription I 12. Time, limitation, prescription II
Students taking this course will supplement their knowledge of the basic legal institutes common to all private law, which they will subsequently use when studying other subjects with private law content.

Students who want to complete this course must first successfully complete the Introduction to the Private Law 1.

For the completion of the course, active participation in seminars within the scope set by the seminar leader, obtaining credit (in the form of a theoretical credit test) and successful completion of the examination (in the form of a practical coursework) are necessary.
