Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to introduce the students to the constitutional fundamentals of the organization and functioning of the state (The Czech Republic), sources of the Constitutional Law, internal organization of the state, constitutional enshrinement, powers and mutual relations among the supreme authorities, the horizontal and vertical division of power, representative and direct democracy, the relations between the Czech Republic and other states as well as the relations between the Czech Republic and international community and finally the problems of emergency.
The students who have completed this subject will gain the knowledge and skills concerning the description and analysis of the basic constitutional terms and institutes as well as the functioning of the state mechanism of the Czech Republic.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Written exam
The students who would like to gain the credit must have regular seminar attendance, they have to complete the tasks assigned by the seminar leader and they must be successful at the written test. Those who would like to take the exam must first get the credit.
