The aim of this subject is to introduce the students to the constitutional fundamentals of organization and functioning of the state (the Czech Republic), the sources of constitutional law, the internal state organization, constitutional enshrinement, powers and mutual relations of supreme state authorities, the horizontal and vertical division of power, representative and direct democracy, the relations between the Czech Republic and other states, the relations between the Czech Republic and the international community and the problems of emergencies.
