The aim of the subject is to introduce the basic concepts and institutes of the public law, the entities of the public law, to introduce the students to the problems of formation, existence and functions of the state, the basic mechanisms of state functioning and democratic system, horizontal and vertical division of powers within the state, state sovereignty and its internal and external aspects including the state's relation towards the international community.
The students who have completed this subject will gain orientation and knowledge concerning the public authorities functioning both internally (internal state organization) and externally (international relations).
