The course of Publishing activity completes the complex of courses within the third pillar of the study program, within its level focused on the development of students' scientific skills and general abilities. It focuses, as well as subjects bearing the title Scientific Activity on the development of the student's ability to present the results of their scientific research. Unlike these subjects, which primarily aim at the ability of the student to present the research results in oral form at a scientific conference, the subject is aimed at developing the student to present the results of scientific activity in writing in the form of prestigious scientific publications. The secondary objective of the course is to deepen knowledge, which is a prerequisite for quality scientific work. The course is designed for students of the specialization Criminal Law. The student is obliged, through consultations with his / her supervisor, to choose a suitable topic for a scientific publication in the area of criminal law, to elaborate it and to consult it / his / her supervisor continuously. After approval of the prepared publication output, the student is obliged to offer it for publication. For successful completion of the course, the publication output must be accepted for printing. The choice of publication output is based on the agreement between the student and the supervisor, however, the implementation of the course assumes that it will be a scientific article eligible to the Register of Information on Science and Research (RIV).
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the features of law.
