Learning outcomes |
The main objective of the course is to deepen and broaden theoretical knowledge of the students in the problems of European political systems. Lectures concentrate on selected European countries and regions (France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, Benelux). During the lectures, emphasis is put to the constitutional development of these countries, their power, legislative and political and non-political institutions. Seminars concentrate of party and electoral systems of selected countries and actual political development.
Students who have completed this course are able to utilize theoretical knowledge in practical situation. They will broaden their knowledge in the area of political systems and strengthen their analytical skills. |
