Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to further develop students' language competences in the area of Legal German and to expand them with legal terminology from the areas of legislation, executive, judiciary and fundamental rights. The basic method is to work with a professional text, based on understanding an authentic text (reading and listening) and to practice the active skill of formulating concepts of Czech law in a foreign language (German).
After completing the course, students will know the legal concepts in the context of content, will be able to understand moderately demanding authentic texts and express themselves on basic issues within the topics discussed in comparison with the Czech legislation.
