Content: 1. Communities and environmental protection. Spatial planning. 2. Access to environmental information. 3. Environmental Impact Assessment. Protection of nature and countryside. 4. Public participation in the decision-making process. Planning permission proceedings. Water protection. 5. Access to court protection. Procedure for the grant of integrated pollution prevention and control permit. Air protection. 6. Local referendum. Protection of forests and agricultural land. 7. Building permit proceedings and enjoyment of a property. Waste management.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to enable those students who are interested in specialization in environmental law with to deepen their knowledge and skills necessary to solve the case studies and test out the application of relevant statutes from environmental law on real cases and case studies. Course consists of six intensive blocks of four hours.
By attending the Environmental Law Clinic the students will have an opportunity to link the theoretical knowledge gained in the compulsory course of Environmental Law with the practical environmental cases. They will develop the necessary lawyering skills such as case analysis, legal writing, communication and presentation skills.

Student performance
Colloquy is obtained based on active participation of the student in the course activities and based on knowledge and development of appropriate skills.
