Course content
The course is focused on acquiring theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of augmentative and alternative communication.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Grafic and Art Activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to train the basic practical skills of people with visual impairments, such as spatial orientation, Braille, self-service, development of compensatory agents or work with compensatory aids.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.

Demonstration of theoretical and practical competencies in the use of augmentative and alternative communication, and fulfillment subject requirements laid down by the lecturer at the beginning of the semester.
