The objective of the discipline is to provide an overview of possible applications of modern information technology and technical compensatory aids in the process of interpersonal and educational communication with individuals with hearing impairment. In terms of content, the discipline covers the terminology of the categories of multimedia technology and its application in the process of educating individuals with hearing impairment, description of technical compensatory aids with respect to their properties and applications.
