Learning outcomes
The development of counseling services in the Czech lands in the context of services supporting disadvantaged persons - a complete view of the history and current structure of individual counseling services across individual departments. The position of a special pedagogue in the system of advisory services for people with disabilities, evaluation of the currently valid paths within the framework of undergraduate and postgraduate education. Interdisciplinary cooperation and the role of special education in a multidisciplinary team. Current trends in approaches to persons with disabilities in Europe, with an emphasis on disability studies. The current system of special pedagogical consulting services in the Czech Republic in the context of current trends in special pedagogical consultancy in selected countries of the European Union and beyond. The position of special pedagogic counseling in the system of special pedagogic sciences in education with emphasis on the connection of teaching and non-teaching special pedagogical directions, on the cooperation of individual counseling services in schools and outside the school, the role of school counseling facilities in recommending, implementing and evaluating support measures. Special pedagogical counseling carried out in the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and current trends related to counseling in this department, the role of information counseling centers of the Labor Office, the role of non-profit organizations in supporting persons with disabilities; consulting activities aimed at maintaining or increasing the quality of life. Special pedagogical consultancy carried out in the departments of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Health and current trends related to consultancy in these departments. Current statistical data on education and counseling services provided to pupils with special educational needs (orientation in the number of pupils with SEN, individual types of disadvantage) and development trends derivable from this data. Career counseling and lifelong education for persons with disabilities in the context of special pedagogical counseling, the role of the transit program in the transition to working life or to adulthood (without the client's employment).
