Basic conceptual documents of the Czech state relating to systemic, interdisciplinary and interdepartmental support for persons with special needs (disability). Legal regulation of the status of persons with disabilities in the Czech legal system. Persons with special needs (disability) in constitutional, civil, family, criminal and administrative law. Selected institutes and classification approach. Legal regulation of the status of persons with cognitive impairment. The specifics of people with mental disabilities and people with psychiatric illnesses. The position of caregivers in the legal system and in society, normative, social psychological, legal and organizational aspects of the actions of close people in supporting people with specific needs (disability).
