Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to obtain and then verify an overview of interdisciplinary overlaps in the scientific field of special education, especially with regard to the possibilities, opportunities and limits of interdisciplinary and interprofessional linking of academically oriented research activities. Knowledge of existing overlaps will contribute to the creative openness of researchers to interdisciplinary research, including its contribution to the development of knowledge in the field of special education. Also included is an accentuation of the development towards a transdisciplinary transfer of special education research into educational, clinical and socially oriented practice and the importance of intersectoral (interdepartmental) cooperation at the national and international level. The content of the subject is based on familiarization with current domestic and foreign trends in interdisciplinary research in special pedagogy with other scientific fields (e.g. with medical and healthcare disciplines, psychology, linguistics, cybernetics, informatics, bionics, geoinformatics, social work, sociology, andragogy etc.). It also includes looking at the specifics of the professional terminology used and sharing scientific research resources.
