Learning outcomes
Individual preparation consisting of the study of professional texts in the relevant chosen language, which thematically correspond to the focus of the doctoral study, vocabulary in general language at the B1-B2 level according to SERR, on a professional level, mastering the terminology of the given specialization, the ability to speak independently and fluently on professional topics, summarizing, argumentation, opposing, defending a position. Preparation of a presentation, e.g. in the form of ppt, lasting approximately 10-15 minutes for an oral public commission exam. In the exam, the listener will demonstrate the ability to answer questions from the committee or from the plenary, supplement individual points of their presentation or clarify any disputed points in the presentation. Students will be able to speak English (at the language level min. B2 ? C1) ? Present the main goals and concept of the solved dissertation, ? Present the theoretical starting points and methodological procedure of the dissertation in oral and written form, ? present a partial aspect of the dissertation in more detail, ? answer all the committee's questions regarding the broader context of the work and own research, ? in relation to the tested language, demonstrate communicative skills and thus meet the recommended time limit (10-15 minutes of self-presentation, 10 minutes of expert discussion).
