The objective of the discipline is to, in a broad multidisciplinary context, summarize the current knowledge in the area of drugs and drug addiction based on the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual model of substance abuse. Upon completion of the discipline, the students will be knowledgeable about the issue in terms of: " Drug-abuse policy, " Epidemiology, " Legislation, " Diagnostics, " Counselling, " Treatment and aftercare, " Prevention.
