The content of the discipline is a deep theoretical insight into the area of education of persons with multiple disability. The quality of life of the clients, family and other types of social environment are considered in an integrative perspective, the discipline also focuses on the theory of working in non-educational establishments (healthcare and social work). The knowledge of syndromic and non-syndromic multiple disability will also be used in non-teaching professions in planning stimulating and developmental activities aimed at persons with multiple disability irrespective of their age. The students are expected to be knowledgeable about the field in an international context. List of recommended literature and materials: BIGGE, J., BEST, J., S., HELLER, K. (2010).
