Learning outcomes
Individual preparation by means of studying scientific texts in the respective foreign language which correspond to the doctoral student's specialization, general vocabulary of B1-B2 level according to CEFR, specialized vocabulary meeting the area of expertise, ability to present a speech with a scientific focus, summarize, present arguments and opposing views, defend one's own perspective. Development of a 10-15 minute presentation for an oral public board examination, for example by means of PPT. During the examination the student shall demonstrate the ability to answer questions asked by the board or the audience, explain in detail the issues of the presentation and clarify any disputes.
