Conceptual and definitional demarcation basic categories. Classification system etiology. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis tyflopedická. Approaches to education of persons with visual disabilities. The system of schools and facilities for the education of people with visual impairments. Spatial orientation. Consequences of visual impairment. Comprehensive services. Specifics approaches for adults with visual impairments, transformation systems.

Introduction into the subject, concentrating on a contemporary concept of special education for persons with visual impairment, a terminology, a classification of persons with visual impairment, specifics of education of children with visual impairment at early and pre-school age, etc.
