Course content
The course is a general introduction into the special education of people with multiple handicaps. Lectures and workshops will focus on issues of special education intervention for families with children with multiple disabilities in preschool age, as well as by selected age groups according to the degree of focus. 1. The system of care for people with multiple disabilities abroad. 2. The creation of concepts. Communications - linguistic and nelingvistického character. Construction of communication alternative routes. 3. The theory of spatial orientation and independent movement. Spatial orientation and its development. 4th Legislation aimed at caring for people with multiple disabilities. 5. Institutional care for people with multiple disabilities. 6th Psychology and Pedagogy its position in persons with multiple disabilities. 7th Self-concept and build social relationships. Pedagogical principles. 8. Theory formation IVP current views and theories. 9th IEPs for children and pupils with multiple disabilities. 10th IEP for adults with multiple disabilities. 11th Synthetic view on the issue of education for people with multiple disabilities. 12. The system of work in Pedagogy of persons with multiple disabilities in terms of requirements. Development of communication skills. 13. The system of work in Pedagogy of persons with multiple disabilities in terms of requirements. Editing environment in specific conditions.

Lecture, Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The course is a general introduction into the special education of people with multiple handicaps.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
Prerequisites
Knowledge from previous courses of special education, general education and psychology.

Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Written exam

Fulfilment of subject requirements as stipulated by the teacher at the beginning of the semester.
