The formation of attachment between a primary caregiver and a child determines further development of their relationship as well as both their physical and mental health. Any disruptions to healthy development of attachment has lifelong effects. Knowledge of attachment and of ways of practical support of its healthy formation are absolutely crucial for future parents as well as all members of society who come into contact with new families. The class focuses especially on acquiring and practicing skills on top of theoretical knowledge.
