The concept of the field of somatopathies from the perspective of counseling work - definition, development in the Czech Republic and abroad, important personalities. Categories of mobility limitations and basic terminology: model of functional ability, WHO classification, especially the International Classification of Functional Ability, Disability and Health, application of this classification in the field of special education and counseling. Rehabilitation of persons with limited mobility - concept of rehabilitation, development of rehabilitation in the 20th century, interprofessional cooperation, facilitators and barriers to effective team functioning, examples of good practice in the field of somatopathology. Rehabilitation in healthcare with a focus on people with limited mobility - rehabilitation team, individual professions (rehabilitation doctor and other medical specialties, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, clinical speech therapist, clinical psychologist, prosthetist...), healthcare institutions (e.g. medical rehabilitation centers, rehabilitation institutes, spas and sanatoriums, treatment centers...), consulting in the health sector. Rehabilitation in the social and work area - definition, legislation, institutions and method of implementation of social rehabilitation (system of social services), tools of social and work rehabilitation, counseling in the field of social and work rehabilitation for persons with reduced mobility and their families. Family of people with mobility limitations - experiences of family members, including healthy siblings, consequences of providing care to people with different types of mobility limitations, family-oriented support strategies.
