The aim of the subject Psychopedia 1 is to acquaint students with the theoretical and historical origins of psychopathy as a special pedagogical discipline. As part of this, we will explain the psychiatric terminology, classification systems, etiology, the specifics of the personality structure of an individual with an intellectual disorder and another mental disorder, raising a child in the family and the possibilities of education in early, preschool, school age and adulthood. Thematic areas: The concept of psychopedia and its position in the system of sciences, goals and tasks. An insight into the history of psychopathy in the world and in the Czech Republic, the position of people with intellectual disabilities in society before/now. Basic psychiatric terminology. Definition, classification, etiology, prevention. Specifics of the personality structure of an individual with an intellectual disability and with another mental disorder. Raising a child with an intellectual disability in the family. Education of people with intellectual disabilities in early, preschool, school age and adulthood. Weakening of cognitive performance (COP) and partial function deficits. System and structure of support measures (PO) for children and pupils with intellectual disabilities and with OKV.
