Course content
Speech and language therapy at Person Who Stutter (PWS), at person with cluttering. All of mentioned speech and language diagnosess are described from point of view terminology, aetiology, symptomatology, speech and language assessment, intervention, possibilities of prevention and prognosis. Appliances, aids, PC software. Neurologically based communicative disorders. Aphasia - terminology, aetiology, symptomatology, syndroms of aphasia, speech and language assessment and intervention, possibilities of prevention and prognosis. Alexia, agraphia, acalculia, apraxia and agrammatism. Special technical appliances and special aids in the therapy. Dysarthria - terminology, types of dysarthria, aetiology, symptomatology, speech and language assessment and intervention, possibilities of prevention and prognosis. Dysarthria at cerebral palsy. Special technical appliances and special aids in the therapy. Physiology of swallowing. Quiescent condition of organs of speech. System of Czech sounds. Physiology and sound errors. Basic methodics of construing sounds, phonems.
