Learning outcomes
The subject is focused on identifying the consequences of a physical disability and the serious illness they cause school failure and are thus a reason for setting up support measures. Absences of pupils due to illness are reflected in the need for 1st stage PO, which is identified by teachers and school consulting specialists. More serious effects of illness and physical disability with the need for PO in 2.-5. degree the counseling staff and the license plate (PPP and SPC for pupils with TP) are also protected. After completing the course, students will be able to define the basic diagnostic tools applied in diagnosis of the impact of physical disability and health impairment on education, describe the most frequently used intervention (reeducation, compensatory, adaptation, therapeutic and other) mechanisms that are part of the education strategies of these groups of pupils. The content of the lesson will be the following topics: - Legislative framework in the field of organization of care for persons with TP and serious illness in the Ministry of Education. - A detailed description of the handicap, including the specific characteristics of persons with TP. - Impacts of physical disability and health impairment on education, including the application of individual areas of PO relevant to this target group. - Diagnostics of TP in the Czech Republic (using MKN, MKF core-set manuals). - Educational system for pupils with TP - focusing on pre-school, primary and secondary education. - Counseling system for pupils and adults with TP (including counseling implemented for this target group in social services) - Basic definition of the competencies of a special pedagogue in the field of diagnosis of TP and health impairment in the Czech Republic the republic. -Diagnostic domains of assessing the degree (depth) of TP impacts on education. - Diagnostic materials, their availability and reliability. - Characteristics of basic diagnostic materials. - Structure of diagnosis and differential diagnosis in the field of TP. Basic diagnostic techniques and tools. - An overview of basic intervention procedures in the framework of supporting pupils with TP and health impairment. - Characteristics of multiple disabilities (in conjunction with TP). - Interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of care for persons with TP.
