Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: tentatively recognize physiological difficulties in the speech development of a preschool child as well as deviations that are not physiological in the speech development of a preschool child and, in indicated cases, recommend a consultation with a speech therapist, to show the parents of a preschool-age child where they can find contacts for speech therapists working in the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, examine laterality in a preschool child and recommend appropriate approaches aimed at the favorable development of the child's laterality, to roughly assess the level of language and cognitive abilities of a preschool-age child, which are a prerequisite for successful mastering of initial reading and writing. Be able to adequately develop these abilities. recognize the level of graphomotor skills, graphomotor difficulties in a preschool child, know and be able to use knowledge aimed at developing the graphomotor skills of a preschool child, orient yourself in the system of Czech sounds and apply knowledge in the development of phonemic hearing as well as sound analysis and synthesis in children of preschool age.
