Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is the adoption of the system of institutional care for children with visual impairment in the Czech Republic, including legislative frameworks, within the interested departments, especially the Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of Education and Culture, with an emphasis on the specifics of access to individuals with visual impairment: according to age (early and preschool age), type of visual impairment disabilities, including characteristics of differences that must be taken into account in the provision of counseling care. Teaching theses: ? Systemic institutional support for visually impaired people in the Czech Republic. ? Legislative and content framework of institutions and facilities designed to help people with visual impairments at a given age. ? The specification of the inevitability of certain ?collaboration? departments of the Ministry of Education and Culture (early care) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (SPC) with regard to the needs of a visually impaired child within the framework of the complexity of child care and development. ? Basic typhoid diagnostics with regard to the target group and practice possibilities. ? Counseling for a visually impaired child and his family with regard to the age, type and characteristics of the visual impairment. ?
