Learning outcomes
The seminar on the assistance practice of counseling is conducted as continuous and feedback to the realized practices of the students and their portfolios. In this case, students are involved in assisting the staff of facilities targeting children with disabilities and disadvantages in early and preschool age. It is important to carry out a discussion on the implemented practice with regard to the target group, the methods used, the experience of working with aids and their training of the child, the family, the pedagogic worker, including emphasizing the needs of the child's development. Students will prepare a record of the assistance practice of counseling, in which they will describe and, above all, evaluate the experience gained. Discussion of the processed minutes from the assistance counseling practice, which will contain the following components: description of the facility in which the practice was carried out and legislative regulations related to the operation of the facility, description and evaluation of the experience gained in connection with the assistance counseling practice for children in early and preschool age facility staff. Evaluation of experience with assistance practice, including a processed case study of one child, in which the student performed counseling assistance practice.
